Frequently Asked Questions

Please note that we require at least 1 week's notice for orders of 6" cakes.​

For bigger orders such as 8-inch, 10-inch, and tiered cakes, please give us at least 2 weeks' notice.

To avoid disappointment, please provide us with as much notice as possible as we do have a maximum capacity.

What size of cake should I order?

small: 6" round x 6" tall cake serves 12-14

medium: 8" round x 6" tall cake serves 16-20

large: 10" round x 6" tall cake serves 20-24

To maximise the servings, cut them into squares (1 square serving is about 2" x 2" x 3.5" per slice).

For more servings, you might need a tiered cake, let us know when you ask for a price quote.

Do you deliver?

Yes! We are currently offering a free delivery service to areas within 3 miles from Borehamwood.
If you are located further away but still within North West London, we can still deliver for a fee. 
We will include this in the quote.
Collection is always free.

Do you do still make children's novelty and character cakes?

As much as we would like to be a part of everyone's party, we no longer accept children's character and novelty cake orders. Right now, we are focusing on developing our own signature designs.  ​

Do you use fondant?

Not anymore. We have switched to pure buttercream cakes now.

Do you use fresh and faux flowers on cakes?

No. We used to but we are trying to develop our own signature designs made of edible buttercream flowers.

Do you still make cupcakes?

We no longer accept regular cupcake orders.

Are your cakes allergen free?

Our cakes are made in an environment where we handle nuts, soya, wheat, egg and dairy. 
We cannot guarantee that trace amounts of these allergens will not be present in our bakes.
Please let us know in advance if you have any questions or concern.

How do I pay for my cake?

We are currently not accepting cash due to the current pandemic.

A non-refundable 50%payment for orders is required in order to secure the commission of your cake and chosen date with The Juju Cakes. Final payment for your cake is required no later than a day before the collection.
